El aristócrata - The aristocrat

- English -
Something I started a long time ago, but never finished until recently because I never felt really able to do so. I still don't feel really satisfied but I'm done with it, at least for now. Any critiques?

Me has sorprendido gratamente master OwO

Gracias! Saludos!

Very beautiful, make me think of Renaissance art(especially Rembrandt). To add... I'd guess more focus on those two little gold feathers and add more detail to them, but the rest is fine.

Maybe that's because of the color scheme and the use of lights. I'd love to be able to paint like Rembrandt did, with such bold strokes. Oh, I wanted those gold things to stay a little out of focus so they don't drag much attention. Thanks!

When I think of Rembrandt I think of some of his portrait pieces where the figure is heavily shaded while the background is entirely black, making the subject a higher focus to the viewer.

Oh, ok, I understand and I agree with that. Anyway, that description makes me think more of Caravaggio (although Rembrandt did make use of that aesthetics). Cheers!
